One Flat Rate and You Keep the Files

For a flat rate of $350 - $400 for typical family shoots, I will come to your home, or the beach, or wherever you would like and spend the time needed to capture your family, your kids, and yes, even your dogs, in an authentic and genuine moment, so that your photos reflect the real you and not some unnatural pose. 

You'll get a disk of all the hi-res digital pictures.  I don't make money off of prints.  You can print your photos yourself or have them professionally printed

At less than $2.00 for an 8 x 10 print, you'll never have to settle for getting fewer or smaller prints than what you really want.

I guarantee you'll love your photos. If you're not 100% satisfied with your pictures, I'll re-shoot your photos within 6 weeks. 

How and Why I Started Doing This

Since the birth of my oldest daughter six years ago, I have averaged about 50 digital photos a day. And not just point and shoot candids, either.  I'm talking serious photo-journalism style photos in chalenging light conditions, taken with an eye for composition and a goal of capturing those "magic moments."

At the end of each week, I'd pick out the best 10-15 pics from 350 photos and e-mail those best of the week photos on to friends and family. 

Doing the math, I've taken well over 100,000 photos of my kids, dogs, husband, parents, etc.  Thank heaven's most of them weren't posed!  Still, not only taking the photos, but critically evaluating and learning from them has been a true education in creating the kind of pictures friends and family will beg you to send them.

Combined with professional and technical training on lighting techniques, flashes, lens selection, and photoshop and my hobby quickly became a professional venture as photo shoots for friends, neighbors, turned into enough word of mouth demand (and work!) to create honest-to-goodness clients. 

All that experience really sharpened my skills and gave me an intuitive feel for what does and doesn't work when you're trying to capture the real person - as well as trying to get the dogs and kids in a candid shot.

So besides the experience, I like to think I bring "a mother's eye" to each shot - regardless of whose kids and family I'm photographing. 

I specialize in maternity, newborn & baby, children, family, pets and holiday photography in Pensacola and all the surrounding areas.
